Travis Chapman - Varsity Head Coach
Coach Chapman graduated Bishop Kenney High School and went on to graduate
from Mississippi State University. He was drafted by the Phiadelphia
Phillies and made his major league debut in 2003. He also played for the
Kansas City royals and Pittsburgh Pirates. Nease is lucky to have the
talents of Coach Chapman.
Bill Rodish - Jr. Varsity Head Coach
Coach Rodish is the Head Junior Varsity baseball coach. He was
former junior college catcher in New York and also played here locally
at Jacksonville University. He is a very active member of our community
and will be a great addition to our Panther staff.
Chris Holt- Freshmen Head Coach
Coach Holt will be our Head Freshman baseball coach. He joins
us after helping coach for the last couple of years at Flagler. Coach
Holt was also a 21st round draft pick in 2002 of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Daniel Hodges
Coach Hodges works with our pitchers. He was an All-American
closer at Florida State University and was a 26th round draft pick for the
Philadelphia Phillies in 2003. He and his wife are moving from Orlando
back to the Jacksonville area.
John Edward Raffo
Coach Raffo is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University. There he
holds the career home run record and was an All Conference player in both the
1999 and 2000 seasons. He and his wife and new baby, Hayden, currently
live in Flagler where Coach Raffo works as a fireman. He will be working
with our hitters and first basemen.
Shane Bowers
Shane will be the only returning coach from last years staff. This year
will be his 10th year of coaching High School Baseball. He will be
helping out our Catchers as well as corner infielders.
Jon Benton
Coach Benton will be helping out with the varsity team. He
played college baseball in Pennsylvania at Slippery Rock University. He
is a great addition to have working on our staff and will be helping out
until he returns to PA around the 1st of April.
Kris King
Coach King is a graduate of Flagler University in 2006.
He will be helping coach our Freshman team. His senior year at Flagler
he lead his team in homeruns and played outfield. He currently is
running his own business and will be great to have helping out our young
kids.
